This was posted in the other thread, but here it is again for those of you that are curious.
6 N/Mes with 16 Curses, ~11 Blood; Skill recharge weapon, +1 Curses 20% chance focus
Awaken the Blood, Feast of Corruption, Desecrate Enchantments, Shadow Strike, Parasitic Bond, Arcane Echo, Res Sig, X
X = Suffering, Shadow of Fear, Malign Intervention, etc.
1 Prot Monk with Prot/Divine/Inspiration
Vital Blessing, Restore Condition, Reversal of Fortune, Blessed Signet, Mantra of Inscriptions, Aegis, etc
[Six String Samurai came up with this prot build and it worked well, don't know the last 2 skills, but he spent most of the time using Blessed]
1 Healing Monk with Word, Seed, Infuse, Touch, etc.

for those of you who didnt notice, 3 out of the 6 necros were wearing bloodstained boots, meaning they used death magic. putrid/wells were definatly involved. also they were n0 and a few other famous guilds, i recognized the cape... i think it might of be hO or sb... dont remember but they were some high ranked peeps. takes some skills to do stuff like that also the monks were godly xP. the clue by lulu of the monk mainly using blessed probably means he had energy drain and life bond on the healer for his infuse? not sure but he was missing an elite. yet he aparently casted vital blessing on everyone; thus his constant cast of blessed signet and use of mantra of inscriptions. so probably a 11/10/10 build was used on his attributes. im currious as to what the healing monk used though :P.
oh yea and if any of you guy in the video have guilds that are recruiting on skill and not rank, pm me, i'd love to try out its hard to find a guild that activly pvps together.

Actually, there was no one from h0 and sB. Lulu's from n0, Paul is from Fianna, and Kriegar, Trexton and a few others are from Te, and I'm Agony. Nice, warm, happy pick up group of friends.
I played healing monk with Six String from Fianna the first night when we won hall a few times (All Hail Izzy ), and I switched to prot monk the second night with Trex as the healing monk.
For the healing monk, I had a very very basic pure heal monk.. Kiss, word, touch, infuse, orison, seed, inspired hex, channeling. In short, a couple of very strong heals since I didn't have additional healing from another source to bolster mine. We didn't run life bond or energy drain. The key to staying alive? An infuse at the right time, a restore conditions in the right situation, and most of all, kiting kiting kiting.
Oh, and we didn't use wells and putrids. I think a few people brought wells, but they were never really used, if at all.

Rofl, that's amazing. God...I really want to see this in action first person (mainly just to hear the comments, actually). I'm currently unlocking a bunch of necro skills, also. Let's see if I can play a necro too. >_<

Does everyone need parasitic? Was thinking just you as the target caller needed it for feast.

60 s. recharge compared to 30. Plus, I'd imagine they would run into energy problems if they ran both.

To help relieve the burden off of the 2 monks. Everytime we killed something, nearly everybody gets a 100+ pt heal. In addition, its a cheap, fairly long lasting hex that is easy to spread, so that if people happen to be in range of the radius, they will also get hit for the extra damage from FoC.

I keep forgetting to cast awaken the blood, then i end up casting arcane echo before i hex. It takes some time to get used to. but it brings me back to the good'ol days of air spiking.

Another thing in relation to everybody needing parasitic. The important thing is not to 'telecast' your attack. The most notable example is probably the lingering curse -> air spike combo (or lingering curse/Rend into any combo for that matter). Being able to spread a cheap 20s duration hex everywhere is what enables this build to nearly pick on any target at anytime. With the inclusion of mimicry, there are a few problems.
Mana and recharge timers have already been mentioned, but another reason is you simply just need time to spread hexes around. Generally the target calling sequence would go something like this:
Awaken the blood up.
Spread hexes around.
Get arcane echo up
Feast in 3, 2, 1,
Next target feast in 3, 2, 1,
Next target desecrate in 3, 2, 1.
Clean up (look for low health targets on your own or the target caller will ask for assistance and cast shadow strike/vamp gaze).
Spread hexes around.
Rinse lather and repeat.
By the time you are done with cleanup and are looking for a brand new target, the initial hexes have been removed and/or wearing out, so you need to start recasting them. While having the extra FoC would have been nice, mana and time constraints probably would not make an efficient addition.
Somebody ought to try it out though

the build is good yes but i don't think that is what is winning your matches.
the group is so well cordinated on calls and only 1 person calling (unlike some other idiots i know)
not to mention feast does dmg while healing you too.

You gotta love Life Syphon.
'Live for 20 seconds or until your target is dead, whichever comes first!' Spam it around to a few targets, and it becomes 'live for 20 seconds.. or 25.. or 30.. or 35 or until your taget is dead' Great skill to have.
I really enjoyed the video -- I don't PvP, so I haven't got the faintest idea what's going on, but I do get a kick out of watching such good players! Gonna be really nice to have an observer mode.
